Help Me Pass The Test
Lord, a big test is coming up;
and I’m nervous.
I need to get a good grade,
and I’m afraid I’ll fail.
Then my parents will be on me.
And when the tests are handed back, everyone will be asking
What did you get?
And I don’t want to look dumb.

Sometimes I study hard for a test
and think I’m really ready.
Then the day comes and I sit at my desk
with a sick feeling in my stomach.
The teacher hands out the test,
I look at it-
and my mind goes blank.
I can’t remember anything,
and I do a rotten job.
Then the teacher makes some remark like
Maybe a little studying would help.

I'm afraid that will happen again.
O God, be with me when I take this test.
Help me to think clearly
and to remember what I’ve learned.
Help me pass the test, Lord.

I’m tired of school, God.
It’s all so boring.
There are still weeks before vacation,
and I can’t stand doing my work.
I stare at a book for hours, and nothing sinks in.
I can’t make my brain work,
and I find so many ways to waste time.

Why do we have to spend so much time in school?
And why do we have to learn so much stuff
that doesn’t seem to have any use?
Sometimes I’d like to drop out of school
once and for all.
But I know I need an education
to have the kind of life I want.
I know I need an education,
I just wish it was not so hard to get.

School isn’t always this bad.
Sometimes I’m interested in what’s going on.
But now I need something
to put life back into learning again.
I’m tired of the same old thing.
Send something fresh and new, Lord.
And, help me hang in there during this dull stretch,
doing as well as I can,
even when I don’t feel like it.

Exam Prayers
Lord, God, we pray to you at a time
when some of us are anxious or tense;
we ask you for your gifts of peace and calm
during this exam,
so that we can do our best.
We ask you for help so that we can
reap the rewards of all our work in this course.
We give you the gift of our efforts
so that we might use our talents for you.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,

Amen

Loving God, I begin this day with thankfulness
and continue it with eagerness.
Let me set about this exam in the
spirit of service to you that Jesus knew
in the carpenter's shop in Nazareth.
Take the skill that I have,
the experience and knowledge
that have been given to me, and use it.
Keep my eyes open, and my imagination alert,
and help me, like Jesus do wonderful work today.

Open my eyes to see how this subject

Aid me to understand this subject

Show me, Lord,
in the midst of the noise of my heart pounding,
the constraints of time
the stress I feel,
that you are near, close by, guiding me.
That I can find quietness and peace
and regain my perfectly working mind.

God does not lead me year by year
Nor even day by day;
But step by step my path unfolds
As he directs my way.
Tomorrow's plans I do not know;
I only know this hour,
And he who bid me walk each step
Supported by his power.
And I am glad that this is so;
Today's enough to bear.
And when tomorrow comes, his grace
Will far exceed my care.
What need to worry then or fret?
My Lord who gave his Son
Holds all my moments in his hand
And gives them one by one.

Dear Lord, Thank u. Thank u for everything u have done for us. For ur son that u sent to died on the cross for our sins.I pray that u forgive everyone even myself for all the wrong we have done. Father, I'd like to succeed in my CAT exams and I pray that u'll guide me. I know that you're a prayer answering God and I thank u for that. In Jesus Precious name.
