| What are your thoughts on global warming. It scares me. During my Geography class last semester we watched a movie and I seriously considered not having any children because it said that the effects are predicted to be bad in the next 50 years or so, after my lifetime. I don't want my kids to have to suffer | |

| It's still good to know because then you know what you could do to help. The world has ignored and denied the problem for too long | |

| (sigh's) An Inconvenient Truth ...... rings a bell? Al Gore's DVD...like it or not it's the truth....as to angel_gurl's comment yes that's true but when did they decide to do it?....until it was at the edge of it's peak no? Procrastination will kill us all...and we'll have no one else to blame but ourselves.
Fact still remains that it's the biggest contributer to global warming...like it or not.

Fact still remains that it's the biggest contributer to global warming...like it or not. Yes, it is. It contributes to a huge percentage. We haven't cut down enough. The government actually denied that global warming was a problem and it was only admitted that it was a problem after there were already big changes showing. I don't know if there is anything we can do to stop it but we can take steps to prevent it from becoming worse in the future. It's not something that we can reverse, (well not right now but with advances in technology who knows??). There are a lot of developing countries that will become large contributors, just as much as the United States, if not worse because some of them have larger populations, such as India.

| It’s one of those things that can’t be undone, all that can be done now is try to slow the inevitable, the artic will melt, the water will raise and the weather pattern will be screwed up more than it is now, new diseases and virus, famine will be rampant, who could afford it will live a little longer but as for the others, well that’s another story. These things were foretold so why try to fight it? | |
